HOSTAGE STANDOFF
"I wanted to thank you again and give you some more feedback. There was a recent situation involving a barricaded
suspect about a mile from the campus. As S.W.A.T. teams were called, we used EVE to keep campus security and others, advised of the situation
in preparation for lockdown measures if needed. Again, the system's applications allowed us to train for such a case and performed when called upon. X-tier has a 'Winner' here!"

or for increased power, mobility, and
physical security, the system can be
accessed and operated from any Apple 3G iPhone
using WiFi or AT&T's 3G network!
Current Feature List
-
Supports
DHS' NIMS or the Department of Homeland Security's
National Incident Management System recommendations for the
private sector with reference to
operational planning and mass
communication of information for various
contingencies or crises to First
Responders and the general public.
-
Supports
Interntional (Global) Use and tracking of employees, staff, students, expats, through the system's
Passport Manager.

publishing of alerts from local, state,
and or national agencies such as the
Center for Disease Control (CDC) for
biological outbreak alerts, the National

(NOAA) for severe weather alerting, the
United States Geological Survey (USGS)
for seismic alerting, and any other

Beyond
Notification...Complete Communication!
Once
notifications are sent from the system,
recipients can respond directly via
their mobile devices or email to the
system. Incoming responses can
then be analyzed, actions initiated
and or adjusted to situational
information; including message assignment to
specific incidents making them a matter
of record thereby providing complete
two-way traceability.
Outgoing communications can be sent as a mass notifications
or specifically targeted to private contacts or narrowed even
further by area code, zip code, or area code and exchange number
(first six numbers).
-
iPhone/iTouch/iPad
Power! The system can be operated from Apple's 3G iPhone.
No lugging a laptop around while on
scene or during an evacuation!
This powerful feature extends the
system's flexibility to this mobile
device allowing you to take EVE
eContingency™
with you whether in a local/remote
command center or in the field!
-
Chronological (Blotter-based)
Traceability & Reporting! All
notifications are logged in a law
enforcement style blotter
format allowing for a chronological
view from the time an incident is
initiated to its completion. This provides an accounting
of messages sent and received, methods of
distribution, forms of distribution,
distribution recipients, date and time
of distribution, and distribution source for complete
traceability and legal considerations.
-
Real-time
Communication!
Updates
to situational information can be sent
and received in real-time from the system as
well as posted in the system's Emergency
Message Center (public).
Notifications are sent via three channels: text to mobile
devices, email, and the Web (available via the Emergency
Message Center).
-
Centralization of
Information - Checklists, Plans, Tasks, Training Management & More!
EVE eContingency™ is well beyond
just a
communications system. With
supporting applications like document, media, task, event,
time managers and more, EVE eContingency™ is provides a
centralized 24/7 portal from which to access information. The document
center and system file manager allows public and
private access to and distribution of critical
checklists, plans, guides, manuals,
pamphlets, video, audio, images, procedures, and
more in the planning and training for a
crisis as well as during an actual
event.
-
A Host of
Operational Support Applications! EVE
eContingency™ supports a host of ancillary support applications
such as the Public/Private Events Publisher, System Content
Manager, Julian Time Calculator, Time Tracker (Timesheets),
Public and Private Contact and List Managers, Task Manager, P.O.
Manger, a Web Forum and others, which can be used to support
day-today operations, planning, and training efforts.
-
System Send Mail!
Users of the system can use the system's send mail feature to
contact Emergency/Crisis Administrators if they do not have
access to a mobile phone or email account.
-
Facilities
Inventory! EVE eContingency™ allows each building to be
cataloged to an infinite degree of
detail; e.g. exits, fire suppression
locations, room contents, floor plans,
elevation, chemical hazards, physical
hazards, special characteristics.
-
Geographic
Separation/Redundancy! Because the
system is Web-based and therefore
accessed via the Internet, the system is
geographically separated from the
point-of-use or origin. This
allows for increased operational
availability and integrity of
information command and
control.
-
Increases
Efficiency & Reduces Time!
Faster access to information and the
ability to quickly adjust actions in
concert with
incoming real-time intelligence helps
reduce the loss of life and property
while reducing recovery time.
-
Point N Click
Operation! Intuitive
and easy to use point and click
operation.
-
Security
Hardened! For
cybersecurity the system has an
integrated security engine called EVE Intercept™ (patent pending)
for examining actions on the system to increase data privacy and
security. Intercept autonomously monitors and intercepts hacking
exploits, suspect Internet requests, attempted tampering, and
provides automated countermeasures while alerting system
administrators to any attempt to compromise the system's
integrity. With an automated
defensive tempo EVE Intercept™ (patent pending) scales up and
down autonomously with hostile or unauthorized attempts to
access the system.
-
Budget
Centric! The system
begins at $15,000 a year depending on
configuration. For smaller businesses such as Child Care and Child Learning Centers
organizations the price is substantially
less.
-
Already
Proven!
The system is
deployed in higher education
institutions, home communities, and
businesses and as such has been used
during both nature and human initiated
events and performed flawlessly.
-
No Software to
Load or Maintain or Special Equipment to
Purchase! EVE
eContingency™ is Web-based and is
therefore does not run on a local
computing platform. The system is
updated automatically ensuring a cost
effective and legacy resistant solution.
-
Telepresence!
TOADs are coming! Currently in
development are EVE eContingency™
Telepresence Operational Adjuvant Devices
or TOADs. These highly economical
indoor robots will stream sight and
sound back to the system via WiFi and can be used
to support tactical or strategic
operations where the threat potential to
human life is high such as chemical spills or a facility lockdown.
-
Predictive
Threat Analysis! Using FBI
compiled data this feature currently in
development will allow risk assessment
as an analysis measure to predict
levels of threat risk.
